Hot conditions will continue into Saturday, with daytime highs reaching up to 111 degrees. Overnight lows will remain warm, ranging from the upper 80s to low 90s. The weather service warns that the risk of heat-related illnesses increases significantly during these extreme conditions.
Temperatures are expected to moderate shortly after the event. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will fall to below normal by Sunday.
