The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, New Jersey, has issued a Flood Warning for southeastern Montgomery County and Philadelphia County until 9:30 PM EDT on October 11. Excessive rainfall is expected to cause urban and small stream flooding across the affected area.

The warning was initiated at 4:31 PM EDT on October 11 after Doppler radar indicated heavy rain over the region. Flooding is either currently ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the specified locations.

According to weather service reports, between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible while the warning remains in effect.

Specific areas that will experience flooding include Philadelphia, Rockledge, Kensington, Center City, the Ben Franklin Bridge, Wissinoming, and Germantown.
