Flood Watch Issued for Portions of Southeast Florida

November 1, 2026 · wweather1 editorial · 1 min read

The National Weather Service in Miami, Florida, has issued a Flood Watch for southeast Florida effective from November 1 through Monday afternoon, November 2.

The Flood Watch covers several areas, including Inland Palm Beach County, Metro Palm Beach County, Coastal Palm Beach County, Inland Broward County, Metro Broward County, Coastal Broward County, Inland Miami-Dade County, Metropolitan Miami Dade, Coastal Miami Dade County, and Far South Miami-Dade County.

Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible through Monday afternoon. Expected impacts include isolated to scattered areas of flash flooding, street flooding, road closures, and limited impacts to structures in flood-prone areas.

There is high uncertainty regarding the exact locations where the highest rain amounts will fall. However, scattered locations across the east coast may accumulate 3 to 5 inches of rain through Monday, with isolated spots potentially seeing between 5 and 7 inches over a window of a few hours. Impacts could also be greater if the heaviest rainfall occurs near the coast during high tide.
